We’re seen this question a lot this month!
“Your website says I should bring evidence of previously issued visas when I attend the appointment. My previous visa was in my old passport, I don’t have it anymore! Can I still attend?”
You should make every effort to bring the requested documents with you. However, if you can’t locate your previous passports, or any other evidence of previous visas issued to you, you can still attend.
You should be prepared to discuss your previous activities in the United States, and should be able to provide a rough time frame for the issuance of any previous visas.
The final decision on each applicant’s eligibility can only be made by a consular officer at the time of their application.
