First Case of Ebola in the US

Yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the confirmation of the first Ebola case in the United States in a person who traveled from West Africa to Texas. The CDC is confident that they’ll be able to control the case and contain any spread of the disease into the rest of the country.

Remember that Ebola is not transmitted through the air or water but only through contact with the blood or bodily fluids of a person who is sick or has died.
