The U.S. Commercial Service UK is hosting an Education Briefing and Virtual Education Fair on Thursday 19 March 2015 at 12:45pm GMT.
Education Industry professionals from throughout the UK, including agents, career advisors, consultants, and school administrators, are cordially invited to take part in this event.
Date: Thursday 19 March 2015
Time: 12:45pm – 3:00pm GMT (refreshments will be served)
Location: U.S. Embassy London (or remotely via webinar)
Participants have the option to attend at the Embassy in person (located in Central London) or to dial in virtually from anywhere in the UK via a webinar platform. There is no cost to attend the event, and refreshments will be served.
Guests will arrive (or connect to the webinar) from 12:45pm, and the event will begin at 1:00pm with a briefing on the U.S. Education market. During this briefing, an American consular officer will speak about the student visa process. The consular presentation will be followed by a question and answer session, and the UK audience will then virtually join the rest of the Virtual Education Fair to hear from U.S. schools via a webinar platform.
During the Virtual Education Fair portion of the event, six educational institutions from the United States will connect virtually with education professionals at the United States Embassies in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and France. Each school will give a presentation on their institution’s opportunity for European students.
Pre-booking for this event is essential.
