Uploading a photograph to Form DS-160

Applicants have reported that they are experiencing problems when uploading a photograph to the DS-160.

The confirmation photo page indicates that they have not uploaded a photo, even though on the preceding page they have received the message that their photo has successfully been uploaded.

If you are experiencing this issue, try the following steps:

  • Record the Application Number
  • Close the browser window
  • Open a new browser window
  • Retrieve the application and try again
